San
Diego Life Center Staff
Ted Duncan, Executive
Director
At 50 I retired from teaching in the computer
industry. Now, at 66 I realize that fat and stress will kill or
disable me before my time. I took on the responsibility of
Executive Director to force a change in my lifestyle. You will
find me sitting in on many activities. I intend to change my
life and make a difference in the lives of others.
I lean to new age beliefs, read science
fiction, prefer classical music, old masters paintings and
conversations in out of the way coffee houses. I am easily
flustered, plan lots of free time, think sports are a fine
substitute for war, don't mind if you get to the top of the
mountain before me and believe puppies are love. After being
single for over 20 years, I remarried in 2006. Smart move.
My mantra is that "I am healthy, wealthy, wise,
powerful and happy."
I realize that I can improve my life. I intend
to:
If this is your goal I urge you to come enjoy
Self Extension.

Jim Kitzmiller,
Educator
Jim's analytical side includes a systems
engineering and software development background. He holds a
bachelor of science degree in engineering from Case
Institute of Technology and an M.S. in electrical
engineering from Ohio State. He completed the Ph.D. course
work in management science at Arizona State. He ran his own
computer consulting business for thirty years.
He has been exploring consciousness for forty years. Jim
has studied and utilized more than fifty different
spiritual / self-help methodologies.
His guided meditations have had over a half million
plays on YouTube. His observer meditations help the
meditator quickly step out of the false self and operate as
the observer. The Divine Essence meditations take it a step
further and help the meditator recognize and identify with
Divine Essence.
His book Rocket Fuel for the Soul - Blissercise
Self-Help Manual contains over 400 blissercises (bliss
exercises) that invite the consciousness explorer to look
at things in different ways. This can rapidly bring the
participant to a state of bliss.
Whenever I do this meditation, I have tears
streaming down my face. I weep with the beauty
of the potential that this feeling could bring
love to the world. I imagine people I have
difficulty tolerating (like George W) doing
this or being surrounded by this love (I
imagine a mother's love) and I just convert it
to "God's" love. It's the most powerful organic
thing in the world.

Jim's novel Duke Blisser and the Meditating
Marines describes an imaginary meditation training of
marines at Camp Pendleton. It takes the reader inside a
meditation training workshop and serves an example of bliss
writing. Bliss writing is a form of stream of consciousness
story writing that quickly elevates the mood and creativity
level of the writer. It makes writers block a thing of the
past.
Jim recently served as the North San Diego County
Municipal Liaison for National Novel Writing
Month. This is an event where people write a 50,000
word novel in the month of November.
Jim's workshops help you live life as the observer and
with recognition of Divine Essence in yourself, everyone,
and everything.
